The first category refers to the story behind the song then danced while Nritta corresponding pure dance movements. Variety of gestures resulting from harmonization of the two concepts is impressive. Thus there are 13 distinct movements of the head, eye 37, 7 of the chin, 9 of the neck 5 of the breast, 32 foot (16 of them in the air), 24 for each hand and 13 for both hands combined. This dance exploits all body movements to represent itself as the only way to communicate with the absolute soul, making some simple spectators, privileged witnesses of those moments you feel the awesome and sublime visible simultaneously. Hinduism, religious texts, Philosophy Description

Hinduism is a religion that originated in India and is still practiced by most of the inhabitants of India, as well as those whose families have migrated from India to other parts of the world (East Africa, South Africa, Eastern Asia , England). The word Hindu comes from Sanskrit, the word „sindhu” (evil, ie Indus River), in the fifth century BC Persians called them the Hindus so identifying them as coming from the Indus country. Hindus define their community as „those who believe in the Vedas” or „those who follow the path (dharma) of the four classes (varnas) and stages of life (ashramas).”

Hinduism is a religion important in the world, not just the large number of practitioners (no. they are estimated to exceed 700 million), but also because of profound influence on other religions in its long history, beginning around 1500 i.Hr . Influence of other religions on Hinduism (the religion has a great tendency to absorb foreign elements) contributed to the syncretism of the religion – the variety of beliefs and practices that includes.

Religious Texts

Canon of Hinduism is defined by what people do more than what I think, therefore the Hindus there is a greater uniformity of behavior than of faith, though few practices or beliefs are shared by all. Some habits are identical in almost all Hindus: bowing before him before Brahmans and cows, considered sacred animals, abstinence from meat (especially beef), and marriage between members of the caste (jati). Most Hindus gaytari hymn singing at sunrise. Most believers they worship Shiva, Vishnu, or the goddess Devi worship but hundreds of minor deities in a particular city, or even a certain family. Although Hindus believe and do many apparently contradictory things, not only to different people, and religious life of one man to see it, everyone follows a certain pattern that gives shape and meaning to his life. There is no doctrinal or hierarchical order in Hinduism, but complicated social hierarchy (inseparable from religion) gives each person a sense of a whole Memberships. 59728qnr31fno5f

Supreme canonical authority for all Hindus is the Vedas. The oldest of four Vedasuri is the Rig-Veda, which was written in an ancient form of the Sanskrit language. This text, probably written between 1300 and 1000 BC and contains 1028 hymns to many gods, was stored and maintained entirely by mouth until day year. Rig-Veda was reinforced by two other Vedauri, Yajur-Veda and Sama-Veda. A fourth book, the Atharva-Veda (a collection of spells), was added around 900 BC year Also during this period were written books that explain the priesthood and myths behind it. Ancepand the year 600 BC Upanishadurile were SCI, they are philosophical meditations on the meaning of existence and the mystical nature of the universe.

All these books are considered as Shruti (what was heard from the gods), and no word can be changed. The practice is contained Smirti hiduismului (which is remembered) which is also orally preserved. There may not alter or contradict lexical Smirtiului. Smirtiul includes two stories Sanskrit: Mahabharata and Ramayana, many Sanskrit Puranas, the 18 major Puranas and several other subordinate Puranas, and many Dharmashastre and Dharmasutre, one of which is attributed to Manu and the most frequently cited.

Mahabharata tells of a war between brothers Pandav, Ramayana tells the story of Rama to try to regain stolen by the demon Ravana’s wife. These stories are among other stories and discourses on philosophy, law, geography, social sciences, and astronomy, so the Mahabharata (has about 200 000 rows) is a kind of encyclopedia and Ramayana (over 50,000 rows) can be also compared with an encyclopedia. Although the two writings can date exactly is supposed to have been written between 300 and 300 AD i.Hr and were continued after they were translated into Indian languages.

Puranas were written after the story, and many of them addressing such issues.Puranas also include myths, odes, philosophies and rituals. Most are the natural area; great Puranas (and some adjacent) is dedicated to worship the goddess Shiva, Vishnu or Devi, others are dedicated to Ganesha, Skanda or the sun.Besides these they also contain other materials such as the Puranas five panchalakshane: creating the universe, destruction and restoration of the universe, the dynasties of the sun and moon gods, the genealogy of gods and men ages creators. nn728q9531fnno

Philosophy

In this rich literary material is incorporated into a complex cosmology. Hindus believe that the universe is a closed sphere, a cosmic egg in which there are several heavens, hells, oceans, and continents, concentric with the center of all India year. They believe that time is fleeting – starts from the Golden Age (Krita Yuga), through daua interim period to date (Kali Yuga) – and cyclic. At the end of each Kali Yuga world is destroyed by fire and flood, and a new golden age begins. Human life is also cyclic: After death the soul leaves the body and is reborn in the body of another person, animal, plant or mineral. This state of everlasting death and rebirth is called samsara. Quality new birth is determined by merit or unfair result of all actions (karma) that the soul has done in previous lives. All Hindus believe they are influenced by karma, but I think this can be improved by punishment or reward, or by obtaining a liberation (moksha) of samsra by renouncing all worldly desires. Astefel Hindus may be divided into two groups those who seek the rewards of this world (health, wealth, children, and a good rebirth), and those who seek freedom from this world. Lifestyle principles are first extracted from the Vedas and are represented today by Hinduism, the religion of Brahmas and the caste system. The second way prescribed by the Upanishads, is represented not only the cultures sannyasa, but the most ideological ideals of most Hindus.

Worldly aspect of Hinduism was the first three Vade, three social classes (varnas), three stages of life (ashramas) and tree ideals (purusharthas), ideals and needs of women is rarely discussed in ancient texts. First three have been added Vade Atharva-Veda. The first three classes (Brahman, or priest, Kshatriya, or warrior, and Vaisya or common man) were created tripartite model of ancient Indian society, then the three classes have been added shudras (servants). The first three were student ashram (branhmachari), owner of a house (grihastha) and who lived year forests (vanaprastha). They had three debts: study of the Vedas, a son and sacrifice. The three goals were Artha (material success), dharma (good social behavior) and kama (sensual pleasures). Shortly after writing primelo Upanishde, during the rise of Buddhism (VI i.Hr), a fourth ashram and fourth goal were added: one who gives up (sannyasa), whose goal is release (moksha) from the other stages, for and liabilities.

Each of the two ways of being Hindu developed its social and metaphysical systems complementary. Svadharma caste system and philosophy were developed with worldly way. Svadharma is the belief that every man is born to do something, to marry a certain person, eat certain foods, etc.. and it’s better for someone to fulfill their own dharma than that of another. The main purpose of the Hindu is to make and raise a son to make offerings to ancestors (shraddha ceremony). Second, the Hindu who wants to quit, based on a philosophy of unity between the individual soul (atman) with Brahman, the universal soul of all lumi.Se believed complete realization of this union is sufficient to free the believer from rebirth. Many Hindus who want to give up ideals were incorporated into worldly Hinduism, particularly the eternal dharma (dharma sabatana), an absolute and general ethical code that incorporates all other dharma. The property inmportanta sanatana dharma for all Hindus, is ahimisa, lack of desire to hurt, which is used to justify vegetarinismul (although this does not include physical violence to people or animals, or sacrifices in temples).

Bhagavad-Gita describes three ways we can reach the religious fulfillment. By karma (ritual sacrifices and acts), and the knowledge, jnana (meditation on the universal soul), later the third way adaugatao bhakti devotion to a religious ideal that cobina the first two

Thus the two types of Hindu deities able to join: all Hindu gods (who are Saguna with attributions) are subservient to a god (which is nirguna without duties), from which emanates all. So many Hindus are devoted to gods whom they worship in certain rituals and that I understand that the aspects of an ideal reality, material reflection is an illusion (Maya) created by God as a play (lila).

Today Hinduism thrives despite numerous reforms imposed by modernization and urbanization of life in Hinduism India.Astfel which supported India in centuries of foreign occupation and internal conflicts continue to serve a vital function in Hindu life today.

God Brahma

The first god of the Hindu triad, considered the creator, Brahma is the lord of the sky, the horizon, being above and beyond any religious worship. It is among the most important gods of India. Brahma was born from himself, sometimes saying that is unborn. He originally came from the world egg or water. When fertilized creation Brahma, were born four classes of beings: gods, animals, people and inanimate beings. Brahma reigns in a majesty’s own heaven, a paradise where all creatures hope to reach. Together with Vishnu, the Preserver and God space and Siva, the destroyer and lord of darkness, form triad Hindu-Trimurti. D when performed when indicated approaching Brahma felt that when initiating the world’s creationt is ideal. To achieve his great creations of the world, oamneilor and gods, Brahma is divided into two, forming a couple. So arrives Sarasvati. It is necessary fertility female energy of Brahma, being but also his daughter. Brahma is Sarasvati immediately smitten. In order to show respect for his father, it always revolves around him. Because it wants to follow in the eyes, yet Brahma sprouts three heads, all absorbed by the desire that inspires him Sarasvati. I still grow its four arms. Brahma is impartial, established laws and penalties, creates death and is responsible for destroying the world. There is a God of mercy and free gifts, from his not being able to expect favors. Consequently, prayers are addressed rarely and few temples are dedicated to them. There are many forms of worship the great god, and among them are many temples, sculptures, paintings and writings. These writings are famous Viewing the next fragment is called the Law of Manu which speaks of Brahma: This world was in darkness, unrecognizable, with nothing distinct, inaccessible reason and perception, if fully fallen asleep. When Augusta being there by herself, that was not developed, developing this universe as the great elements and carrying out her energy, appeared to dispel darkness. This being the only spirit can perceive subtle, without distinct parts, eternal, self closing all creatures, incomprehensible, appeared spontaneously. Aiming to retrieve the body or the various creatures, produced first, by thinking in these waters and has made seed. This seed became a golden egg, as bright as the sun was born himself as Brahma, the original father of all worlds.

Yama

Of all countries, India is one of the countries where religion is at the highest level, faith and rituals of worship of the gods is followed strictly, but with the greatest love. Myriad Indian gods is a very vast and diverse. Among the most important gods of Indian mythology are: sovereign gods Mithra, Varuna guarantor agreements and organizer of the world, representing combatants Indra Rudra = destroyer of life and exuberance, fecundity gods and Aditi is the mother of the gods, Agni = fire, purusha = master immortality, the sacred river Sarasvati =, = lord Vishnu and Yama space. According to Indian mythology, Yama is the king of the dead. Yama is the first man, the first mortal. Originshis are divine as possible, having as my dad Vivasvant Sun. God not only called Yama, he wearing different names depending on the region that is worshiped. It is named Ymir in Northern Europe and Yima or Manu in Iran. Yama has a sister, Yami, which merged to create mankind, are considered creative couple. In India, on the fiftieth day of Sarabatorii lamps, girls invite their brothers to the table to prepare a warm bath and worship him. This is how it is celebrated the first human couple. Before becoming a god in the great constellation of Indian gods, Yama was human nature. Not only was human nature, but Yama was also the first man who saw the first death, thus becoming leader of the dead. Himself or one of his servants, coming to take those who have finished the thread of life. Nothing should distract him from this task. Yet, one day observance is absorbed and forget the killed him mortal. Thus mankind multiplies beyond measure, people getting to and competing gods. Situation returns to normal after completion of such rituals. Worship this god involve several forms over the centuries and its being raised carvings, painted panels, and raised many lyrics. These writings include famous works in the Indian Vedas is dedicated to the god Yama found the following excerpt: He, who has traveled huge distances and showed that for many the way, son Vivasvant, adunatorul people, Yama royal, honoring him with offerings ! Yama the first found its way, the good pasture will not be lacking! Mortals are born and they will go where they went and our ancestors.

Lakshmi

In Hindu religion Lakshmi or Laxmi (Sanskrit लक्ष्मी lakṣmī) is the goddess ofwealth, light, wisdom and destiny, but sometimes fortune, beauty and fertility.Representations of the goddess Lakshmi are both in Hindu temples, and in theBuddhist and Jain.

In Hinduism Purana, Lakshmi is the mother of the universe and a form of Shakti(Divine Mother) to the god Vishnu. Goddess is the wife of Vishnu and married andsome of his incarnations: with Rama (incarnation of the goddess Sita), Krishna (as it is Rukmini) and Venkateshwara (incarnation as Alamelu).

Goddess Kali

Supreme Shakti (Kali in her appearance) assume responsibility to create names and their evolution in the event. Sovereignty is often mentioned them by name Adimahavidya In Tantric texts, which means the first of the Great Cosmic Powers, but not to infer a hierarchy, but rather that of a macrocosmic order of becoming. Thus, one of many representations of the Great Goddess Kali is also the one where she is represented on a golden throne supported by five bodies (such as that of Shiva), which is in the midst of a throne Crang trees of gems. At her feet lies the golden sand beach, calm waves always washed the Ocean of Nectar of Nemuririi.Kali Adyashakti is called, as its energy and terrible power that drives beings to action and the world (creation) to show . For this reason it is often called Mahamaya (Great Universal Power of Illusion). The fact that it is represented naked, without a garment to cover it, means to transcend the limitations of any type of Kali, she always identified herself with endless power of Divine Consciousness. Kali’s action in event action involves destroying and purifying the same time time (Kala). This is suggested by the cutting head of a human being, the Great Goddess who keeps it one of his hands, the significance being that the whole creation, finally, is dissolved or withdrawn within the Primordial Consciousness of God, because of the inexorable action subtle energy that manifests time Kali, herself being placed beyond. This is why I assigned and Goddess Mahakali name. However, as the yogi is a shift more firmly to the goal of spiritual liberation that transcends all duality and illusion, Kali I will give her overwhelming grace (bhukti = experience full of happiness and fulfillment in this world and divine ecstasy mukti = Reality of Divine transcendence). One of the most important situations in which worshiped the Great Cosmic Power Kali is the goddess Durga, the demon Mahishashura winner. The devil is in the Hindu spiritual tradition embodies all the forces of Darkness. The Vedanta philosophy is no concept of Divine incarnations (avatars) that come down to take a deep spiritual transformation of humanity in this direction, Rama, Krishna etc.. have been considered avatars of Lord of the Universe (Ishvara, worshiped in male appearance as Vishnu). But for those who worship God in appearance or patronizing and omnipotent Divine Mother, Great Goddess Durga is only to destroy the evil incarnation that proliferate in the world in many aspects of demonic and satanic. Thus, in the tradition of Hindu mythology says that invincible goddess, powerful in the three worlds (physical, subtle and causal), was victorious in battle with demons and their king, the great demon Mahishashura, saving the gods from captivity and restoring order in expression. Deep spiritual significance of this myth is that in every human being there are beneficial and evil energies and forces that objectifies In such trends. Symbolically, the forces of evil are demons, and the benefits are gods, there is such a fierce internal battle for supremacy.Goddess Durga, the personification of the Great Cosmic Power Kali, grant her divine grace and help those who invokes the power and love for their spiritual forces to develop and suppress all other negative influences of mind and their mind. Durga, the Divine Light that ever flashed a Force of Eternity, destroys and burns in terrible fire of her pure consciousness any malefic force and any residue of ignorance. In Hindu iconography, Kali appears also in many other forms, which often are similar to the form of Dakshina Kali, the differences involving the number of arms, the girls goddess or symbolic objects which it hands you. Thus, Shmasana Kali, Siddha Kali, Mahakali, Guhya Kali are all aspects of the Great Goddess are worshiped in different parts of Indiei.Printre these forms of the Great Cosmic Power Kali is noteworthy that of Bhadra Kali, who treated famous Tantrasara is described as a hungry deity, ready to devour any form or illusory aspect of the event, with three eyes (full symbol of spiritual knowledge) and four hands holding a skull, a drum, a trident and an ax. A variant of Bhadra Kali Kali is Chamundi, described as having good looks and kind, though his teeth are terrible in aspect. She wears a long human bone, a skull in the end, and a sword in his two hands straight and in the two left hands you a wide and a head. Unlike other forms representative body Chamundi Kali wears a tiger fur is attached to a cadavru. In certain times and circumstances, Kali comes at a terrible way in order to destroy all that is weak, useless or perverted . Many times it assumes a symbolic four or more hands to hold and use various items and weapons in order to maintain order in creation and control over the forces of evil, embodied by some demonic and satanic entities (Yakchha, rakshasa, Naga, Bhuta, etc..). In her very elevated aspects, Kali is itself infinite Divine Bliss which is beyond any possibility of ordinary human perception

And heaven is all due to uttering a magic word, which is Suvari. Of these 5 syllables conceive the 5 seasons. There are many similarities, striking even, between the act of creation in Indian mythology and the creative act that is preached to the Christian faith. Both God and the Indian god were erected throughout the world in a certain number of days, will only then create human beings and animals. Another similarity is that, after they completed the act of birth of the world, both creators have spent some time to Odiham, very tired, especially to contemplate the act of their creation. After the god Prajapati complete their creation, stands up, leaving his egg that stood so long. Prajbati was born at the age of 1,000 years. From his mouth he forges gods, and they hardly take possession create sky. Free from evil spirits inside his soul, Asura. Just created, they take the landlord, they represent darkness. Prajapati then give rise to man, songs, Sun. This is the year, and his joints are the two joints of day and night, the full moon and new moon and the early seasons. Ritual celebration is the equivalent of creation, it brings together what was dispersed, restore the primeval, give coherence and structure of the world. Prajapati is represented in the form of Brahma, lord and father of all creatures.
